We use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contribution exceeds $99 in an election cycle.
An individual may donate up to $1,000 for the General Election, $1,000 for the Republican Primary Election, $1,000 for the Conservative Primary Election, $1,000 for the Green Primary Election, $1,000 for the Independence Primary Election, $1,000 for the Libertarian Primary Election and $1,000 for the Serve America Primary Election, for a total of $7,000.
Personal, PAC and Corporate contributions are acceptable and will be donated according to New York State election Law for the general election. Contributions from spouses do not count against this total. A corporation or LLC may contribute $5000 per calendar year to all local political candidates combined. Each affiliated or subsidiary corporation, if a separate legal entity, has its own limits. Contributions from LPs and LLCs are no longer treated as individuals pursuant to NYS Election Law. Contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited. An individual residing in the United States who possesses a green card may contribute. Contributions are not tax deductible.
